Immigration forum: Law hurts everyone

The Cobb Immigrant Alliance hosted a forum on immigration at Crosspoint Presbyterian Church on King Springs Road. The group — which describes itself as a coalition working to ensure a welcoming environment for all immigrants — invited the public to learn about “myths and facts surrounding immigration and about Georgia’s new law (House Bill) 87.” Garcia spoke passionately about the impact of immigration laws already on the books such as 287(g), which is used to check the immigration status of Cobb County Jail inmates. Families have been separated and traffic road blocks have instilled fear in people, he said. He also said ankle monitors have been placed on people, such a woman he knows, who have been found driving without a license. First of all, I don't see what all the stink is about. From what I am hearing, the only way this applies is if you get caught in a traffic stop or doing something else illegal. Then they will check your background and status. It could apply to anyone not just hispanics (i.e. Italians, French, Russian, etc). If you aren't here legally you should not have any rights and need to be caught and shipped back from where you came. I was born in Germany to two US citizens in the military and still had to be naturalized. I was not automatically a US citizens. Get over your pitty party and let's move on to more important issues like the cost increase of electricity and gas. I can understand Jim W.'s comment. Why aren't these people demonstrating in their countries to demand that their leaders make it better for them. We don't hear any of that. That shows how hypocritical they are. And their American-born children can go live with them in their countries. And there's something else. Those who somehow become citizens then bring their elderly parents over to join our SSI program, without having paid into it, to further put strain on our Social Security system. Actually, some of these people live in their countries but draw benefits on our Social Security program, which raises taxes that I as an American born citizen am struggling to pay. Why hasn't Congress had some hearings or done something about that. And why do so many people say the government is doing this and that for them financially. In that sense, I am the government -- the government is taking money from me and giving it to you. (2) If you are not a U.S.

2011 Road King handlebars - Harley Davidson Forums: Harley ...

I have a new 2011 Road King with the 110 kit (wow it is awesome), and would like to keep the same style bars but would like them 2" higher and at least 2" closer.i have to really stretch to reach them in the stock position. I have read all kinds of forum posts and haven't found anywhere that can tell me what bars (by part number) I should install and do I need to extend any cables? If so what parts will I need to do this. I appreciate all input. the local dealer quoted $1200+ to do this and this seems really high to me, not sure they are on the up and up.
