Tom McMahon's Kid Tips: 125 things to do this summer
Once again, we celebrate the long days of summer through this column. Your children probably are already chanting, "I'm bored!" Fear not, parents. The kids are not really bored, they just can't think of anything to do. The following updated and revised list of activities focuses on creativity and getting the children outside. Only three of the 125 activities require an electrical plug. If there ever were a column to clip out and post on your fridge, this is it.

Please advise on this issue: I work for a engineering software company. Currently I work as a 'Technical Support Engineer', but my company has offered me a position of 'Sales Engineer'. I have already applied for my I-485, but have not received a notice yet. If I start working in the sales position, will this affect my GC application? Would the USCIS know about my change of duties, if my 'salary' and 'position title' remains the same? Please reply. Response will be highly appreciated! As per Section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, out of 114,200 visas for 2nd Preference, 89,000 reserved visa numbers has been allocated to F2A and the rest something around 26,600 visas has been reserved to allocate to F2B. But now, in previous year F2A jumps over 4 years gap and only then they could achieved their quota and who knows there could be a probability of wastage or unused numbers as well. Anyways it will be an advantage for F2Bs because in 2011 they have 89,000 stock again to complete the required given numbers and any body in a world can guess right now after seeing the result of 2010 that it will become current soon. All I wanna say that there could be a tremendous amount of unused visas will gonna distributed among the preceding categories in which they will distribute those unused numbers to preceding categories. Where the maximum will be allocated to F2Bs and rest two: F3 and F4 could also enjoy this unused numbers in a discrete sequence. This process is known as Spillover, I have mentioned below the link of USCIS Blog site(Beacon)u guys can go and check it out. Congrats Kapil. Our I-485 recept dates were on 04/12/2007. Prior to last month as it was UNAVAILABLE we thought we should wait for a long time to see some movement. But now that they are avaialble we are looking forward (infact when I logged onto my portfolio, which I do almost every day to see if there are any Last Update Dates) to get ours approved. But haven't had any luck thought. We also have renewed our EADs second time just got approved on 03/24/08 (recipt dates were on 02/15/08). Is your wife travelling on H4 or AP.In both cases she should be fine.If she will travel on H4 then this is totally unrelated as your H1 is still valid and and she will be fine,if she is on AP then after RFE your case is suspended for about 3 weeks when you reply for the RFE and according to me she will be safe in the interim period of suspension to travel.
