Man admits child-sex guilt
A 74-YEAR-OLD Rose Bay man has admitted committing a number of child sex offences on young girls between 2001 and 2010.
The man pleaded guilty to four charges in the Hobart Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
He is facing two counts of maintaining a sexual relationship with a young person and two counts of committing an indecent act directed at a person under 17 years.
The man was bailed to appear in the Supreme Court in Hobart on September 19.

Nicolass Ockert Bester, 58, pleaded guilty in the Hobart Magistrates Court today to maintaining a sexual relationship with a person under the age of 17 and possessing child exploitation material.
Bester was a science teacher at St Michael’s Collegiate School at the time, while the girl, who cannot be named, was a student.
The school said it sacked Bester and alerted police once it became aware of the relationship.
Bester was granted bail to appear in the Tasmanian Supreme Court in Hobart in July.
